Ever since its humble beginnings in a tiny shared space on Club Street (coffee shop by day, bar by night), No Sleep Club has been hitting it out of the park. But then again, this all-day concept is owned by some of the best in the business. Juan Yi Jun (formerly of Operation Dagger and 1880) makes amazing drinks using techniques that you or I may not be familiar with, however that doesn’t matter when the drinks are this delicious and, in bar parlance, totally “smashable”. The Tom Yum & Melon and tequila Espresso Martini (served in a coffee cup) come to mind. Then you have Jessica Hutchinson (ex-28HKS), who can make a mean cocktail but is also the queen of hospitality and makes every visit feel like coming home. Add some super-tasty grub by new chef Pete (order the bone marrow mash if available, the tartare, and the cheesecake donuts) and be prepared to stay awhile.
