Located in Portland’s Pearl District, Teardrop Lounge has been leading the cocktail renaissance in the Pacific Northwest since 2007. Ensconced in concrete, wood beams and hanging plants amid candlelight, the bar features a centre, appropriately teardrop-shaped bar around which brown bar stools are situated. An impressive 30 cocktails comprise its menu, with sections denoting “bright & crisp” to “supple & herbal” and “deep & dark.” A helpful glossary of spirits at the back reveal the bar’s commitment to customer education, as does the bartenders’ very accommodating service ethic.
