Chesterfield sofas, statuesque portraits and sumptuous seating make the large space cosier than its size would suggest possible – even the seven-metre-long marble bar has a convivial air about it. Local ingredients, artisan techniques and premium ingredients feature in cocktails such as the ‘Ma 75’, a chilled flute containing Tanqueray Ten, white port, cantaloupe seed syrup, lemon, champagne and peach bitter, garnished with melon balls.
