A recent entry to the Asia's 50 Best Bars list, Taipei's Bar Mood is an elegant space from Taiwanese bartender Nick Wu, emphasising creative cocktails as well as Taiwanese and Japanese whisky. The beautifully illustrated cocktail menu includes drinks such as the ‘Spice Raft’, with Mount Gay Black Barrel, pepper and pandan syrup, spiced mango syrup, fresh lime juice and marigold leaf. Food is given the same attention to detail as the drinks, with dishes such as smoked squid or crispy pork belly on offer.
