Riding high in Asia's 50 Best Bars 2019, Vesper takes its name from James Bond’s favourite martini. This is pretty much the ideal date bar: it's chic but not austere, the drinks are strong and if conversation runs dry the menu will provide the perfect talking point. Its current iteration is made up of cocktails inspired by contrast concept, alongside sections dedicated to spirit categories and even aperitifs, with each drink plotted on a flavour map, on a scale of 'Sweet' to 'Dry' and 'Refreshing' to 'Spirituous'.
