Disappointment over World’s Best Bar winner Dandelyan’s closure has changed to glee at the opening of its successor, Lyaness. Ryan ‘Mr Lyan’ Chetiyawardana is still at the helm, and the Sea Containers London location remains true. A design makeover features electric blue accents, while the marble bar remains. The menu explores the signature Lyan technique-focused approach to cocktail creation, combining science and blue-sky thinking to craft truly unique serves. The Multi Milk is just one of the many inspired creations: a milk punch of bourbon, vodka, spilt milk cordial and 'Thunder Mushrooms' – a supercharged concotion of grains, legumes and koji spores that's been fermented, fortified and then zapped by a car battery.
