Inspired by the parallels of Buenos Aires and Bangkok, BKK Social Club, in the Four Seasons at Chao Phraya River, is helmed by industry veteran Philip Bischoff, previously of Manhattan in Singapore. The focus here is on glitz, glamour and good times, set in garden-like surrounds in which plants tumble from chandeliers and semi-outdoor courtyards provide a space to enjoy a cigar.

The menu draws inspiration from Argentina and Latin America, including the notable places and people from Buenos Aires and the vibrant bar scene of the 1970s and 80s, such as the Evita (rum, Italian bitters, citrus, bay leaf and cinnamon), named after the Argentine politician and activist. American whiskies, amaros, vermouths and bitters are all well-represented across the bar’s drinks programme and the menu also has a dedicated bottled section, elevating bottle service beyond just spirit and mixers – just one of the many reasons BKK earned last year’s Michter’s Art of Hospitality Award and retained its title for a second year as The Best Bar in Thailand, sponsored by Tia Maria, in 2023.
